Despite the Horrible and Offensive Headline...
MMMBack: Hanson
Love it or hate it, "MMMBop" became a pop classic that offered one last breath of innocence before the rise of real boy bands, little Mariah Careys and rap-rock nasties. Hanson's days were numbered, and, when the young trio began making more mature alternative pop, it was shunned by radio and MTV alike. That's too bad, because the new "The Walk" is a strong effort.

say what you want, Mmmm bop was a HIT and i loved it! :)
No way. How was it ever pop? Pop you in the face? I am stunned... Ashleigh, I respect, admire, and trust your musical taste. Are you being for serious?!
... Hawley has obviously entered this conversation a little late, so please excuse her. Listen to their new stuff and then we'll chat.
I recommend the songs "Song to Sing", "Georgia", and "Hey".... illegally download them even. You'll see what you've been missing.
I like Georgia...don't tell anyone please.
Because you have willingly admitted this... I will not tell anybody. Thank you Doug.
I rocked out to Middle of Nowhere back in the day. I haven't heard much since then, but I trust Ashleigh's judgment. Anyone who hates Nickelback as much as her clearly knows the difference between good music and Chad music.
I am still in state of shock.
But anything titled "Georgia" -outside of the realm of country music - is going to kick butt, THAT should be obvious.
Think Ray Charles, John Mayer...
good call on the georgia song title references.
you have officially convinced me to go out and listen to the song.
... also, I am adding a Hanson mix to your Buick Prize.
ashleigh,
my band still sucks. and no i won't date you, i'm not into same-sex relationships. not that there's anything wrong with that.
taylor
.... lame.
Obviously you have missed the point, much like everyone else who has failed to pass out of the 8th grade and into the reality of quality musicianship and a band possessing staying power. See a concert, read a review, take a lesson in a good joke (i.e. one not involving tired, manufactured homosexual references based soley on that fact that once, 10 YEARS AGO some guys had long hair), and then maybe we can talk.
A*Cubed endorses both quality and humor, two things encompassed in a deep love of Hanson's music. Thanks.
The End.
Sweet!! a Hanson mix?! Not on a mixed tape? hahaha ohhh those were the days, cassettes. Not that I could even play a cassette anymore.
But I am super dooper excited for a mix! HOORAY! Thanks! Hot dang. I win!!! I win!!
Love,
Huge Ashleigh Fan
Yep, an actual cd. Sitting in my office right now... ;)
